In recent months, Honda has been actively working to boost sales by introducing special editions of its popular vehicles. Just last month, the City sedan was rolled out in the Apex Edition, with a starting price of Rs. 13.3 lakh. More recently, the Elevate SUV was updated with the Signature Black Edition, highlighting dark aesthetics both inside and out.
Commenting on the sales performance for February 2025, Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. stated, “The market conditions have been challenging for the auto industry, as we experienced a decline in car registrations and faced difficulties in generating new demand during February compared to last year. However, our latest launches, such as the All New Amaze and the special editions of the Elevate Black and City Apex, have garnered a positive response from the market, helping us generate excitement around our products and maintain sales during this tough period.”
He further added, “With new incentives outlined in the Union Budget 2026 aimed at boosting overall consumer demand, we are optimistic that the situation will improve in the coming months. On the export side, we continue to achieve healthy volumes, driven by the robust performance of the Elevate and City in international markets.”
