What is Connections?
The NYT‘s latest daily word game has turned into a social media sensation. The Times attributes its creation to associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, who has successfully introduced it to the publication’s Games section. Connections is accessible via web browsers and mobile devices, challenging players to categorize four words that have something in common.

Each puzzle consists of 16 words divided into four categories. These categories might contain anything from book titles, software names, country names, and more. Even though several words may appear to fit together, there is only one correct grouping.
If players correctly identify all four words in a set, those words disappear from the board. However, guessing incorrectly counts as a mistake; players are allowed up to four mistakes before the game concludes.

Players can rearrange and shuffle the board to easily identify connections. Additionally, each group is color-coded, with yellow being the simplest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Like Wordle, you can also share your results on social media.
