Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in China today, with its global launch set for MWC in Barcelona on Sunday at 2 PM CET. The Ultra model features a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP short-range telephoto lens, and a 200 MP long-range telephoto camera, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 6,000 mAh battery with fast charging. The Xiaomi 15, a more affordable version, includes a triple 50 MP camera setup and a 5,400 mAh battery. European pricing is expected to mirror last year’s, starting at €1,000 for the Xiaomi 15 and €1,500 for the Ultra.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to launch in China later today, but the brand is already gearing up for its international reveal at MWC in Barcelona this Sunday.
The presentation will kick off at 2 PM local time (CET), which translates to 1 PM GMT or 6:30 PM IST. Furthermore, we anticipate the global debut of the Xiaomi 15, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro is expected to remain exclusive to China.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to boast a 50 MP primary camera equipped with a 1″ sensor, alongside a 50 MP short-range telephoto camera and a 200 MP long-range telephoto lens.
This device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and features a 6,000 mAh battery with impressive 90W wired and 50W wireless fast-charging options.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra
The Xiaomi 15 is a more compact and budget-friendly alternative. It features a triple camera setup with three 50 MP lenses, omitting the 200 MP periscope lens. This version is equipped with a new Si/C battery that has a 5,400 mAh capacity, along with 90W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging options.
The Barcelona event will disclose the European pricing for these phones. We don’t expect any price increases from the previous year, with the Xiaomi 15 starting around €1,000, and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra likely priced at approximately €1,500.
Xiaomi 15 is available in China in Lilac, Green, Black, White, and Bright Silver Edition
