Helicopter Accident in Portage County

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is responding to a helicopter crash at Mogadore Reservoir in Portage County, which occurred before 7:30 a.m. on Friday. SkyFOX is on-site, with crews actively searching the water, where fuel or oil has been observed. The reservoir has a maximum depth of 24 feet, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. PORTAGE COUNTY (WJW) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol has confirmed their response to a helicopter crash in Portage County.

The incident reportedly occurred at the Mogadore Reservoir near State Highway 43 in Suffield Township on Friday morning, just before 7:30 a.m.
