Google Store opens its doors in India.

Google has launched the Google Store in India, enabling direct purchases of its products, including smartphones, previously only available through Flipkart and select retail outlets. Benefits of shopping at the Google Store include no-cost EMI options, instant cashback, device exchange bonuses, and various discounts. Purchases include the Pixel Price Promise, ensuring device authenticity and potential partial refunds if a better price is found. Customers also receive 24/7 support from trained experts and warranty coverage, with some authorized centers offering same-day service. Repair requests can be initiated online, with free doorstep pickup and mail delivery post-repair.

Up until now, Google’s offerings—particularly smartphones—were available in India exclusively through the online retailer Flipkart and select offline partners like Croma, Vijay Sales, and Reliance. That changes today with the launch of the Google Store in India, enabling direct purchases from their online platform.

Purchasing Google products from the Google Store offers several perks, including no-cost EMI options, instant cashback, device exchange bonuses, UPI payment options, discounts on the Google Store, and Google Store credits (some promotions expire on June 30, 2025).

Products acquired through the Google Store come with the Pixel Price Promise, ensuring that “every device is 100% authentic.” If customers discover a better price at selected retail partners or on the Google Store within the return period, they may qualify for a partial refund under the Pixel Price Promise to match that lower price.

Moreover, customers who buy from the Google Store enjoy 24/7 support from Pixel-trained specialists, along with coverage through official warranties and authorized repair facilities in India. Some locations even offer same-day service.

According to Google’s official blog, customers can initiate repair requests and arrange for free doorstep pickup directly from the website. They can also have their repaired device shipped back to their address at no cost via mail service.
