About Ananta, Google’s Bengaluru Office

The name “Ananta” translates to “infinite” or “limitless” in Sanskrit. Each floor is designed with a city-grid layout featuring team-oriented “neighbourhoods” and a central gathering area designed like an amphitheater, known as Sabha.

Emphasizing sustainability, the campus includes one of India’s largest installations of smart glass to minimize energy consumption, recycles 100 percent of its wastewater, and incorporates rainwater harvesting systems.

Drawing inspiration from Bengaluru’s lush greenery, it offers landscaped areas, walking and jogging trails, along with the ‘Aranya’ forest, which also serves as a sound barrier. The construction is made using locally sourced materials.

The campus features new tactile flooring for visually impaired individuals to assist with navigation, as well as accessible facilities and braille information.
