Google Fi Wireless, celebrating its tenth anniversary, has introduced a new affordable plan called Unlimited Essentials, priced at $35 per month for unlimited calls, texts, and data (30GB at high speed). Existing plans have also been enhanced: Unlimited Standard is now $50/month with 50GB of high-speed data, while Unlimited Premium costs $65/month and offers 100GB of high-speed data, plus additional perks like YouTube Premium and connectivity for tablets. The company has launched data-only eSIMs for tablets, and 5G data roaming is available in 92 countries. A limited-time offer allows customers to get the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel Watch 3 for free.
Believe it or not, Google’s carrier, now known as Google Fi Wireless, has reached its tenth anniversary. To mark this milestone, they have introduced a new budget-friendly plan called Unlimited Essentials, priced at $35 per month for a single line. This plan includes unlimited calls, texts, and data, though high-speed data is limited to 30GB monthly.
The other two plans have undergone minor updates as well. The Unlimited Standard plan (previously named Simply Unlimited) now costs $50 per month and provides 50GB of high-speed data (an increase from 35GB), along with 25GB of high-speed tethering (up from 5GB). It continues to offer coverage in both Canada and Mexico.
Lastly, the Unlimited Premium plan (formerly known as Unlimited Plus) is now available for $65 per month, offering 100GB of high-speed data (up from 50GB) and 50GB of high-speed tethering. This plan also features data coverage in over 200 destinations, six months of complimentary YouTube Premium, 100GB of Google One storage, and “connectivity for tablets and laptops at no extra cost.” Additionally, subscribers benefit from advanced spam call blocking, a VPN by Google, and “full connectivity for select smartwatches.”
Google Fi Wireless has also rolled out data-only eSIMs for tablets. The 5G data roaming feature is now operational in 92 countries and territories. Additionally, there’s a promotion allowing you to get the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel Watch 3 for free; you’ll receive an instant $300 discount on the phone and $699 back through 24 monthly bill credits. Following the phone’s shipment, a code for an instant $100 off the watch will be provided, with $349 reimbursed over 24 monthly bill credits. This deal is available until April 29 or while supplies last.
