Gautam Adani Sends Greetings and Video for Maha Shivratri

On Maha Shivratri, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani shared a video showcasing a statue of Lord Shiva at his Ahmedabad home, along with a hymn, expressing that the universe moves by Lord Shiva’s grace. He wished everyone well, highlighting the statue’s stirring visual effects during Shiv Aaradhana. Adani also reflected on serving devotees at the Maha Kumbh, recalling an emotional moment when an elderly woman blessed him. He described his service as a heartfelt prayer, emphasizing humility and dedication. The Adani Group supported the event by providing meals and free transport for the elderly, women, and children.

On Maha Shivratri, which fell on Wednesday, Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, shared a video featuring a statue of Lord Shiva from his home in Ahmedabad, accompanied by a hymn. He extended his wishes to everyone for the occasion and noted that all of existence moves by the grace of Lord Shiva.

In his posts on X and Instagram, the billionaire expressed in Hindi, “The entire universe is in motion solely by the grace of Lord Shiva, the deity of sacrifice, penance, and ‘tandava’. I am sharing this ‘divine and grand’ representation of Bholenath from our Shiv Aaradhana at home with all of you through this video. Wishing you infinite blessings on Maha Shivratri! #HarHarMahadev”

In the video shared on X, the Adiyogi Shiva statue is illuminated from behind. The various lighting effects enhance the statue’s beauty and create an illusion of movement. These effects sync with the hymn’s rhythm, partially illuminating the statue during the slower segments, and fully revealing it during the crescendos.

As Maha Kumbh is also concluding on Maha Shivratri, earlier in the day, Mr. Adani shared his gratitude for the opportunity to serve millions of devotees at the religious event and recounted a special moment he experienced during his visit on January 21.

“I vividly remember that emotional occasion when I was distributing ‘Aarti Sangrah’ (a collection of hymns) at the Gita Press camp near the Lete Hanuman Temple in Prayagraj. An elderly woman, around 80 years old, approached me through the crowd and offered her blessings by placing her hand on my head. The feeling I experienced at that moment was indescribable—a profound spiritual touch that I will cherish for a lifetime,” the industrialist shared in the country’s largest Hindi daily.

“To me, service transcends mere action; it is a prayer that resonates in my heart—a prayer that continuously keeps me humble and dedicated,” he added.

The Adani Group also collaborated with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to provide meals to devotees at the Maha Kumbh Mela and organized complimentary golf cart services for the elderly, women, and children.
