European Servizi Terminalistici has ordered a Konecranes Gottwald ESP.8 Mobile Harbor Crane for Italy’s Port of Augusta, following a 25-year concession to operate its new container terminal, Sicily’s largest by cargo volume. The crane, featuring a 5.3-meter tower extension and twin-lift spreaders capable of 65-ton capacity, will improve the port’s capability to handle containers and specialized heavy cargo, such as components for wind energy. This investment aims to enhance logistics and operational efficiency at the terminal.
