The DJI Mavic 4 Pro enhances its predecessor with upgraded features, including a unique 360° Infinity Gimbal capable of capturing dramatic angles. It houses three cameras: a 100MP Hasselblad with a Four Thirds sensor, a 48MP medium telephoto, and a 50MP long telephoto, all supporting 10-bit D-Log color profiles and 4K video. With a flight time of up to 51 minutes and a range of 41km, it boasts advanced obstacle avoidance and tracking features. The new DJI RC Pro 2 remote has a 7” display, and the drone can transfer data quickly via Wi-Fi 6. Pricing starts at €2,100 in Europe.
Faster, farther, longer – and equipped with superior cameras. The latest DJI Mavic 4 Pro enhances its predecessor on nearly every level and introduces an impressive feature: the 360° Infinity Gimbal.
This gimbal can pivot a complete 360 degrees for Dutch angles and vertical videos, and it can tilt upward 70° for impactful shots.
It houses three cameras: wide, medium telephoto, and long telephoto. The primary camera is a 100MP Hasselblad model with a large Four Thirds sensor and a 28mm lens (an upgrade from the previous 20MP sensor). This module features an adjustable aperture ranging from f/2.0 to f/11.

Next, there’s the medium telephoto camera, which boasts a 48MP 1/1.3” sensor paired with a 70mm lens (similar to the camera on the 3 Pro). The long telephoto module features a 50MP 1/1.5” sensor and a 168mm lens (f/2.8 aperture), marking a significant upgrade from the 12MP 1/2” module on the 3 Pro.
The three cameras ensure consistent color reproduction, making transitions seamless. All are compatible with 10-bit D-Log, D-Log M, and HLG color profiles, capable of capturing 4K/60fps HDR video with at least 13 stops of dynamic range.
The Hasselblad main camera can go up to 6K/60fps and supports up to 16 stops of dynamic range. For slow-motion recordings, the main and medium tele cameras can shoot in 4K/120fps, while the long tele option reaches up to 4K/100fps.
DJI Mavic 4 Pro
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is powered by a 95Wh battery, allowing for a flight time of up to 51 minutes, with maximum speeds reaching 90km/h. In comparison, the 3 Pro could fly for a maximum of 43 minutes.
The upgraded DJI O4+ transmission system allows operation at a range of up to 41km. If you maintain a range of 30km, you can achieve 10-bit HDR video transmission.
This new model features six fisheye cameras with low-light performance and dual processors, enhancing navigation and collision avoidance capabilities. It achieves omnidirectional obstacle avoidance at speeds up to 65km/h in low-light conditions. In well-lit environments, the drone can map its surroundings and return home even without GPS. The ActiveTrack 360° system can effectively track subjects, even when they are partially hidden, and can identify and pursue vehicles from distances of up to 200m.
DJI has also unveiled the new remote, the DJI RC Pro 2, which features a 7” mini-LED display and 128GB of built-in storage, with a battery life of up to 4 hours. You can capture audio using the onboard microphone or connect a DJI Mic.
Moreover, the Mavic 4 Pro is compatible with the Parallel Charging Hub, capable of charging up to three batteries simultaneously. It prioritizes charging the battery with the lowest charge, and once they are even, it distributes power equally among them. One battery can be charged in 50 minutes, or all three in 90 minutes.

The hub also includes practical features – for instance, it can draw power from fully charged batteries to boost charging for those that need it. Alternatively, it can function as a 100W power bank for charging phones and laptops.
DJI’s QuickTransfer feature allows users to utilize the DJI Fly app to download videos from the drone at speeds up to 80MB/s using Wi-Fi 6, even when the drone is stowed in its bag. A USB-C cable is also available for quicker wired transfers.
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is not set to be available in the US, but it can be found in Europe. The basic package includes the drone (with 64GB built-in storage), one battery, and the simpler DJI RC 2 remote, priced at €2,100.
The Fly More Combo is priced at €2,700 and includes two extra batteries, a 100W USB-C power adapter, the charging hub, and a shoulder bag for transportation. Finally, the Creator Combo features a drone with enhanced built-in storage (512GB), the new DJI RC Pro 2 remote, a 240W power adapter, and a USB C-to-C data cable, priced at a substantial €3,540.
