Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are set to debut in early July. A recent report from the South Korean outlet The JoongAng reveals that Samsung plans to host an in-person event in New York at the beginning of the month, which aligns with earlier leaks. Last year, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 were unveiled on July 10, making it likely that their successors will follow suit with a similar launch date.
The latest report also indicates that the Z Flip FE and Samsung’s tri-fold device may be showcased at the event.
As per the latest rumored specifications, both foldables are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, along with 12GB of RAM and options for 256GB or 512GB of storage. They are also anticipated to run on Samsung’s One UI 8 right out of the box.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is rumored to have a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8.2-inch main display. It is also expected to be slimmer, measuring 4.5mm when unfolded and 9.5mm when folded. The device should feature an upgraded 200MP main camera and a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging capabilities.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 is expected to come with a larger 4-inch cover screen and a 6.85-inch main display. It will maintain the 50MP main camera and 12MP ultrawide camera from the Flip6, along with a slightly larger 4,174mAh battery that supports 25W charging.
