“There was a moment I considered jumping off [the boat],” he mentioned, leading to a co-host asking him whether his mother, Linda, was on board the 28-foot boat.
“No. Initially, it was just me and Cam, um, the girl I’m seeing. I told her, ‘You need to jump off and alert someone; I can’t contact anyone,’” he recounted, referring to D’Aloia, who is 26, using a nickname.
“So she, before we got too far, dove off and went back to call the harbor master,” Portnoy continued.
