Charging Speed of Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic Revealed

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic have been certified in China, confirming LTE-capable versions. However, both models will only support charging speeds up to 10W, the same as the Watch7. They will include features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and wireless charging. The design is expected to switch to a squircle-like case while maintaining a round screen, similar to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The official launch is anticipated in early January alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.

The upcoming Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic from Samsung have received certification in China by 3C. This has confirmed the expected news that both models will include LTE-capable versions.

Additionally, the certification process has disclosed the charging speed of the watches, which is disappointing. It appears that both devices will have a maximum charging speed of 10W, identical to that of the Watch7. Naturally, they will also feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and wireless charging capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic are anticipated to adopt a squircle-like case design, while maintaining a round screen to align with the Galaxy Watch Ultra released last year. These watches are expected to be officially unveiled in early January, coinciding with the launches of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.
