The nominees for the January Shark Player of the Month award in the Ninja A-League have been announced. Ten players, selected based on their FotMob ratings from Rounds 9-12, are eligible for fan voting. To qualify, players must have made at least two appearances during the eligibility period, which spans from December 31 to January 21. Notable nominees include Grace Jale (Wellington Phoenix, 8.31), Emma Robers (Canberra United, 8.14), and Chelsie Dawber (Adelaide United, 8.01). Voting closes on February 6 at 9am AEDT, allowing fans to choose their favorite player of the month.

During the 2024-25 Ninja A-League season, 10 players will be chosen each month for a shortlist, allowing fans to vote for the Shark Player of the Month award.

The players nominated each month will be determined using FotMob’s rating system. The 10 players with the top FotMob ratings (ranging from 0.0 to 10.0) during each voting period will be recognized as the monthly nominees for the Shark Player of the Month award.

The eligibility period for January encompassed Rounds 9-12 of the Ninja A-League season, with matches played from December 31 to January 21 factored into the FotMob rating system.

To qualify for the top 10, players must have made at least two appearances during the eligibility period to accumulate an average FotMob rating.
