BSF and police seize 533 grams of heroin in Tarn Taran

A joint operation by Tarn Taran police and the BSF led to the recovery of 533 grams of heroin in Dall village on Sunday. Acting on a tip-off, the Khalra police collaborated with the BSF to search the area and discovered the drug, which was reportedly transported from Pakistan via drone. The SSP, Abhimanyu Rana, confirmed the recovery and noted that a case has been filed under the NDPS Act and the Aircraft Act.

A cooperative effort between the Tarn Taran police and the BSF led to the recovery of 533 grams of heroin during a search operation on Sunday.

SSP Abhimanyu Rana reported on Monday that the Khalra police, acting on tip-off, collaborated with the BSF to conduct a joint search operation in a field located in Dall village, where they seized the drugs.

The SSP stated that the heroin was smuggled from Pakistan via a drone. The police have registered a case in accordance with the relevant sections of the NDPS Act and the Aircraft Act.
