A police report has been lodged against the woman, and she has been apprehended, according to central Noida senior police officer Shakti Mohan Awasthi.

The video shows the eight-year-old boy inside the elevator after returning from a tuition class. When the door opened on one of the floors, the woman and her unleashed dog were waiting outside.

The visibly frightened boy was seen begging the woman not to allow the dog inside the elevator without a leash. Instead, she lunged at him, pulling him out of the lift, after which the door shut. She reportedly hit him and slapped him several times.
