Hoecht, aged 27, first joined the Rams as an undrafted free agent from Brown in 2020.
He was part of their final roster cuts and later signed with their practice squad before securing a futures deal in 2021.
The Rams retained Hoecht as a restricted free agent last year.
During the 2024 season, Hoecht played in 17 games for the Rams, accumulating 56 tackles, three sacks, and two pass defenses.
