The Oklahoma and South Carolina softball series schedule has changed due to expected bad weather on Saturday. Game one will be played Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. CT, with a doubleheader on Sunday, March 9, starting at 1:30 p.m. The second game will replace Saturday’s originally scheduled match. Fans with Saturday tickets can enter the second game, but must exit the stadium after the first game. Ticket holders unable to attend should contact the seller for refunds or exchanges. The first and third games will stream on SECN+, with the Sunday game broadcast on SECN, featuring commentary by Michele Smith and Clay Matvick.
Game one of the series will take place as originally scheduled on Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. CT. In addition, Sunday, March 9 will now feature a doubleheader. The first game of the doubleheader will kick off at 1:30 p.m., followed by the second game approximately 40 minutes after the first game’s conclusion. The second game will replace the match that was initially slated for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m.
Fans holding tickets for the game scheduled on Saturday, March 8, will be allowed entry to the second game on Sunday. However, fans will not be able to scan their tickets for entry until the stadium has been fully cleared after the completion of the 1:30 p.m. game.
All attendees must exit the stadium after game one, including those who have tickets for both games on Sunday. Fans returning for the second game will not be allowed to re-enter with any food or drink purchased during the first game.
For fans unable to attend the newly scheduled Sunday game, please contact the original point of purchase for a refund or alternative solution. Any standing-room-only tickets for Saturday’s game, bought through the Oklahoma Athletics Ticket Office, may be exchanged for a future game or refunded by emailing [email protected] or calling 405-325-2424.
Season ticket holders who can no longer make it to the games this weekend are encouraged to either transfer their tickets, return their seats to OU, or sell their seats via OU’s Seat Share program to ensure their seats are still filled. Both the first and third games of the series will be available for streaming on SECN+, while the 1:30 p.m. game on Sunday will be broadcast live on SECN. Michele Smith will serve as the color commentator, with Clay Matvick providing play-by-play for the SEC Network broadcast on Sunday, as well as for the SECN+ stream during the series finale.
