Acer is set to launch three new smartphones in India on April 15, including the Acer Super ZX and ZX Pro. One model will feature a 64MP Sony sensor, an ultrawide camera, and a macro shooter, emphasizing good low-light photography and AI-powered capabilities. These budget 5G-enabled devices will debut at 12:00 PM local time. Notably, local company Indikal Technologies designs, manufactures, and distributes these phones, with minimal involvement from the Taiwanese brand aside from the name. Indikal also produces Acer TVs in India.
Acer is set to unveil three new smartphones in India on April 15, and they have already provided a glimpse of one of the devices. One of the models will feature a 64MP Sony camera sensor, alongside an ultrawide lens and a macro camera.
Acer has now confirmed the names of two of the devices – Acer Super ZX and ZX Pro. Both smartphones will make their debut on April 15 in India at 12:00 PM local time.
The two models are expected to be budget-friendly 5G phones that excel in low-light photography and come equipped with AI-enhanced features.
An important note is that the local firm Indikal Technologies is responsible for the design, manufacturing, and distribution of the smartphones, meaning their connection to the Taiwanese brand is largely limited to branding. This same company also produces Acer TVs in India.
