Amazon has kicked off its Memorial Day sales, offering discounts of up to 35%. The Pixel 9 series, in particular, has reductions of up to $300, but there are also some alternatives available. Plus, take a look at Sony’s latest high-end Bluetooth headphones.
The Google Pixel 9 Pro starts at its standard discounted price of $800 – that’s $200 less than MSRP for the base 128GB model. Higher storage options come with an additional $50 discount, culminating in a $300 reduction for the 512GB variant.
The standard Google Pixel 9 is $200 cheaper than the Pro model. Be sure to check out our comparison article for more insights on which model fits you best.

There’s also the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL – unfortunately, the 512GB models are sold out, so the maximum discount available is $250 for the 256GB version. Here’s how the larger Pro XL stacks up against the 9 Pro.

If you’re interested in foldables, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is currently enjoying a $300 holiday discount.

While the sleek Edge is still available for pre-order (launching next week), the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features a 200MP camera – available now. It also includes two telephoto lenses (50MP 5x/111mm and 10MP 3x/67mm), plus a higher-res ultra-wide lens (50MP).
And let’s not overlook the battery – the Ultra houses a 5,000mAh battery, compared to the Edge’s 3,900mAh. We are currently working on a review of the S25 Edge; in the meantime, you can read how the S25 Ultra compares to the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

The OnePlus 13R slots into the mid-range market, especially with its current $100 discount. It comes with premium features like a 6.78” LTPO display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This R-model also includes a telephoto camera, specifically a 50MP 2x/47mm lens, and a large 6,000mAh battery.

For those seeking an actual flagship, the OnePlus 13 is available with a $50 discount. This model features the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, improved telephoto (50MP 3x/73mm) and ultra-wide (50MP) cameras, enhanced water resistance (IP69 vs. IP65), and offers wireless charging (50W).

The Sony WH-1000XM6 has garnered positive attention in our hands-on review – they’re lightweight, comfortable, and offer superb noise cancellation. They even fold, unlike the XM5 model.

However, keep in mind that the XM6 has an MSRP that is $50 higher than what the XM5 was at launch – combine that with a $100 discount, and the price gap widens significantly. If you’re willing to sacrifice portability, the Sony WH-1000XM5 remains a strong option with its impressive sound and ANC quality.
