Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE in early July, with mass production already underway. Demo units are set to be shipped to stores soon. The Z Flip7 FE is expected to weigh 187g and feature an old-style design with a 3.4” cover display, while the Z Flip7 will have an edge-to-edge display. Both models will use Exynos chipsets, except in North America and China, where the Z Flip7 will use Snapdragon processors. The Galaxy Z Fold7 will be thin, utilizing the Snapdragon 8 Elite globally, with more leaks anticipated once the devices hit stores.
Samsung is anticipated to unveil three new foldable devices in early July: the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE. Recent reports suggest that Samsung has begun mass production, and everything seems to be on track as Max Jambor notes that the company is preparing to distribute demo units to retailers.
As mentioned previously, these are the three traditional foldable models, and the rumored tri-fold variant remains unconfirmed. It might be released later, similar to how the Galaxy S25 Edge followed the primary lineup.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is reportedly 187g in weight, matching last year’s Z Flip6 exactly. Its design is expected to resemble that older model, featuring a smaller 3.4” cover display, while the Z Flip7 will boast an edge-to-edge cover display.
Renders: Galaxy Z Fold7 • Galaxy Z Flip7 • (possibly) Galaxy Z Flip7 FE
Both of these models will share a common trait, utilizing Exynos chipsets – the Exynos 2500 for the premium flip and the older Exynos 2400 for the FE (not the 2400e). The exceptions will be in North America and China, where the Z Flip7 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite. There is also evidence suggesting that the Z Flip7 FE might use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, indicating a similar approach. The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to be quite sleek and will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite globally, based on current information.
In any case, once the new Galaxy foldables hit stores, we can look forward to more leaks emerging.
