The Infinix Xpad is a budget-friendly 4G tablet from last year, and now the company is launching a GT model tailored for gamers on a budget. It effectively meets this value-for-money objective with an interesting choice of chipset.
Powered by the Snapdragon 888—a 5nm chip from late 2021 that was featured in numerous flagship devices—the Infinix Xpad GT comes with a sizable vapor chamber for cooling, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Although the Adreno 660 may be older, it still promises an enjoyable gaming experience with high frame rates. Infinix asserts that the Xpad GT can achieve 144fps on Standoff 2, 120fps on Honor of Kings and Mobile Legends, and 90fps on PUBG.
The device is equipped with a spacious 13” display that boasts a 144Hz refresh rate. It features a 10-bit panel with HDR10 support, a resolution of 2,880 x 1,840px, and achieves a peak brightness of 700 nits.
For an enhanced gaming and streaming experience, the tablet incorporates 8 speakers and 3D sound with DTS processing. While there’s no headphone jack, Infinix includes a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter and a vegan leather protective case in the box.
