The Alcatel V3 Classic and V3 Pro are on their way.

Alcatel is set to launch the V3 Ultra on May 27, alongside two other 5G-enabled phones: the V3 Classic and V3 Pro. Each features a 50 MP camera and a 5,200 mAh battery. The Ultra is a rebranded TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper, while the Classic and Pro correspond to the TCL 60 and TCL 60 SE NxtPaper, respectively. The V3 Classic boasts “India’s First NxtVision Display,” while the Pro includes an e-ink NxtPaper screen and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Prices are expected to be competitive, with the TCL 60 SE NxtPaper priced at about €189.

Alcatel is set to unveil the V3 Ultra on May 27, and we’ve discovered that the event will feature two additional smartphones. The Ultra will take the spotlight alongside the V3 Classic and V3 Pro—both offering 5G capabilities, equipped with 50 MP cameras and robust 5,200 mAh batteries.

The Ultra will essentially be a rebranded TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper, while the other two models also belong to TCL’s lineup—the Classic is based on the TCL 60, and the Pro mirrors the TCL 60 SE NxtPaper.

Alcatel promotes the V3 Classic as “India’s First NxtVision Display,” a branding used by TCL and Alcatel for their standard screens. The NxtPaper technology will feature on the V3 Pro, which sports a 6.7″ LCD capable of a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The only significant distinction between the V3 Classic and V3 Pro is the e-ink technology – both devices will share the same 50 MP + 5 MP rear camera setup and an 8 MP front-facing camera, as well as the aforementioned battery.

It’s important to note that while the TCL 60 launched with 256 GB of storage, the V3 Classic will reportedly offer 128 GB of storage (expandable via a micro SD slot). We also know that the V3 Pro will include 8 GB of RAM, but its storage specifics are still unclear.

These smartphones are expected to be quite budget-friendly—the TCL 60 SE NxtPaper was introduced internationally at €189, approximately INR 18,000. We’ll have to wait until Tuesday to see how Alcatel adjusts the pricing for the Indian market.
