Oppo is set to launch the Find X9 Pro in October, following the Find X8 Pro. Unlike its predecessor, the X9 Pro will feature a revamped camera setup with only three rear cameras, including one periscope. It is rumored to use a large 200 MP sensor, possibly the Samsung ISOCELL HP9, eliminating the need for two periscope cameras. The device will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC, advancing from the 9400 in the X8 Pro. The Find X9 series will reportedly include four models, all featuring flat screens, with the X9 being the smallest.
Oppo introduced the Find X8 Pro in October, and it’s likely that its successor will debut around the same time this year. In anticipation of that, new information suggests that the Find X9 Pro will make significant changes to its camera configuration compared to its predecessor.
According to fresh rumors from China, the Find X9 Pro will feature three rear cameras instead of the four found on the X8 Pro. It will include only one periscope lens, and you might not be surprised to learn that it will utilize a large 200 MP sensor.

It’s uncertain whether this will be the same Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor that other manufacturers in China are currently adopting, but it seems quite plausible. By employing this sensor, Oppo believes the necessity for two separate periscope cameras may be eliminated.
The Find X9 Pro is set to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC, aligning with its predecessor’s use of the Dimensity 9400. In February, it was reported that the Find X9 series would include four models – the Find X9, Find X9+, Find X9 Pro, and Find X9 Ultra. All models are expected to feature flat screens, with the Find X9 having the smallest display, similar to the recently launched Find X8s.
