Samsung Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy S24 FE get One UI 7 update featuring Android 15

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 7 update earlier than expected, initially for the Galaxy S21 series in Korea. The update, with software version G99xNKSU8HYD9, is a 3.5GB download. Users can anticipate similar updates for Galaxy S21 devices in other markets soon. Additionally, the Galaxy S24 FE in India is now receiving its One UI 7 update as build S721BXXU3BYD9, which is a larger 5.1GB download. Both updates include the April 2025 security patches, indicating Samsung’s commitment to resolving previous issues efficiently.

Samsung has taken considerable time to release the update to One UI 7, but it seems to have addressed all prior issues, with rollouts beginning slightly ahead of schedule for numerous devices.

For example, the Galaxy S21 series was initially set to receive One UI 7 in May, yet the update is already being distributed in Korea, featuring software version G99xNKSU8HYD9.

This download is 3.5GB. Now that the rollout has started, the Galaxy S21 devices are expected to receive this update in additional markets shortly.

The Galaxy S24 FE has also received the One UI 7 update, this time in India, where it downloads as build S721BXXU3BYD9, weighing in at 5.1GB. Both updates come with the April 2025 security patch level, by the way.
