What is Yes, Chef! about?

Yes, Chef! is a culinary competition series that challenges 12 skilled chefs with the ultimate test. Although they possess natural talent, personal issues such as egos, intensity, stubbornness, or short tempers often hinder their success.

Enter: Martha Stewart and José Andrés.
With a mix of humor and tough love, José and Martha will mentor the chefs through weekly culinary challenges aimed at addressing their personal shortcomings. In this showdown, chefs must showcase not only their culinary skills but also the right mindset to survive until the end.

Each episode consists of two challenges, kicking off with the Main Challenge, a team-based exercise designed to evaluate their leadership abilities. José and Martha will select the winning team, and one chef from either team will be honored as that episode’s Most Valuable Chef. This MVC will then engage in a cook-off and face an important decision that could significantly affect who is eliminated that week.

The chef who thrives under pressure, impressing with both their culinary creations and teamwork while improving their behavior under Martha and José’s supervision, will win the grand prize of $250,000, sponsored by the granola brand Purely Elizabeth.
