Huawei Nova Y73 Launches Soon with a Low-Powered Processor

Huawei has announced that the Enjoy 80, launched recently in China, will be released globally as the Nova Y73. It retains the same specifications, including the 14nm Kirin 710A chipset. The Nova Y73 will feature 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB. However, the 512 GB variant and some color options will only be available in China. It will run on EMUI 15 based on Android 12, not Android 15 as initially reported. Other specs include a 6.67″ display, a 50 MP main camera, and a 6,620 mAh battery. Prices start at RUB 16,999 ($205).

Earlier this month, Huawei introduced the Enjoy 80 in China, and we’ve now learned that it will be available worldwide. Reports from Russia indicate it will be rebranded as the Nova Y73, retaining the same specifications, including the 14nm Kirin 710A chipset that was released over six years ago.

The Nova Y73 will come with 8 GB of RAM and storage options of either 128 GB or 256 GB, with the 512 GB variant no longer available. The stylish white-gold and green leather options will remain exclusive to China, while the Russian market will only have access to the Light Blue or Black colors.

A listing for the phone mistakenly noted it would feature EMUI 12 on Android 15, but this is clearly an error – the device will actually run EMUI 15 based on Android 12.

Other specifications include a 6.67″ display, a 50 MP primary camera, and a robust 6,620 mAh battery supporting 40W fast charging.

Huawei Enjoy 80 launched with big battery and budget pricing

The cost for the Huawei Nova Y73 is expected to be RUB 16,999 ($205/€180) for the lower storage variant and RUB 18,999 ($230/€200) for the higher one. We’ll have to wait to see if these prices will be consistent in other markets or if they will be offered at a lower price point.
