Entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider has hinted that a Predator might appear in the upcoming sequel to Alien: Romulus, based on connections teased in the Predator: Badlands trailer. He mentioned this on a podcast, stating there’s potential for a Predator in Fede Álvarez’s script. Álvarez has expressed openness to a crossover with Predator, suggesting a surprise appearance of either creature in each other’s films for maximum impact. Sneider previously forecasted the animated anthology Predator: Killer of Killers, adding credibility to his latest rumor. Fans are invited to engage with both franchises as speculation grows.
Consider this rumor with the usual skepticism, but with the hints of Alien universe connections seen in the latest trailer for Predator: Badlands, we honestly wouldn’t be shocked if this turns out to be accurate.
Entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider recently mentioned that he’s been hearing a Predator might feature in the upcoming sequel for Alien: Romulus. He also discussed this on a recent podcast.
Word on the street is that there IS a Predator in the script for Fede Alvarez’s follow-up to ALIEN: ROMULUS.

Fede Álvarez, the director of Alien: Romulus, has previously expressed that he would be open to a potential AVP, suggesting that he might co-direct it with Dan Trachtenberg. He has also mentioned that he would be interested in featuring one of these creatures in the other’s film.
The ideal AVP would be one where you don’t realize it’s an AVP until the other character appears. You think you’re watching a Predator movie, and then suddenly, you encounter some creatures, and boom—it’s a Xenomorph. That would blow your mind. ‘Hell yeah!’ You’d lose it. Or the reverse—you’re in an Alien film, and then suddenly there’s this cloaked figure, and you question, ‘Is that a freaking Predator?’ And then it is. That’s how it should be done, right? Once it’s in the title, it’s like, ‘Spoiler alert.’
Sneider was also the first to mention the title for the upcoming animated Predator anthology, Predator: Killer of Killers, which turned out to be correct.
What are your thoughts on this rumor? Are you excited to see these franchises blend on the big screen again?
