Vivo is set to unveil the X200 Ultra on April 21, following numerous leaks and teasers. An unboxing from China reveals two color options: silver, rumored to be developed with luxury brand Rimowa featuring distinctive stripes, and red, as well as a traditional black/dark gray variant. The device boasts a notably thick camera island housing three large sensors. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, sporting an LTPO AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. Camera specifications include a 50 MP main, 50 MP ultrawide, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera.
The vivo X200 Ultra is set to make its full debut on April 21, and leading up to that date, we’ve witnessed a plethora of leaks, speculations, and official teasers regarding the device.
Today, we have the first unboxing video from China, featuring both the silver variant, rumored to be a collaboration with luxury luggage brand Rimowa (which explains the distinctive Rimowa stripes on the back), as well as the red color option. Check it out:
Additionally, there’s another leaked image to admire, displaying the device in these two hues along with black/dark gray, which is definitely the most classic of the selections. The remarkably thick camera module is very prominent in this image, but with three large sensors packed into one smartphone, that’s to be expected.
The X200 Ultra is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will boast an LTPO AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution, a 50 MP main camera equipped with a 1/1.28″ type sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide camera using the same-sized sensor as the main camera, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens utilizing a 1/1.4″ sensor. The main camera is expected to have a 35mm equivalent focal length, according to reports.
