The device operates on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 straight out of the box, with vivo guaranteeing three Android version upgrades and four years of security updates for this smartphone.
The vivo V50e features a 6.77″ quad-curved AMOLED display that boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. The screen, safeguarded by Diamond Shield Glass created in collaboration with Schott Glass, achieves a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and supports HDR10+.
Moreover, the vivo V50e’s display incorporates an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric security, alongside a centered punch-hole housing a 50MP selfie camera equipped with autofocus and “front fill light” capabilities. Notably, unlike its predecessor, the V50e’s selfie camera can capture videos in 4K resolution.
On the rear, the vivo V50e features two additional 50MP cameras: a primary camera utilizing a Sony IMX882 sensor (with OIS) and an ultrawide camera offering a 116° field of view. These cameras are complemented by a circular flash, which vivo refers to as Aura Light.
The vivo V50e also comes with India-exclusive portrait effects in wedding styles (Prosecco, Neo Retro, Pastel) along with AI-enhanced features such as AI Image Expander and AI Photo Enhancer. Furthermore, it is designed to facilitate underwater photography.
Powering the vivo V50e is a 5,600 mAh battery, which is 100 mAh larger than that of the V40e and charges 10W faster with a maximum output of 90W.
Additional highlights of the vivo V50e include IP68 and IP69 ratings as well as dual stereo speakers.
The smartphone is available in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White colors, with the Sapphire Blue variant featuring distinct patterns across all units.
