Huawei is set to release the Enjoy 70X Lite, a toned-down version of the Enjoy 70X launched in January. Unlike its predecessor, which features a Kirin 8000A chipset, the Lite will use a Snapdragon chipset, lacking 5G support due to US sanctions. It will come in black, white, and blue, with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. The device includes a 6.78-inch curved OLED display, a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and an 8 MP front camera. It boasts a 6,100 mAh battery, HarmonyOS 4.2, but offers lesser camera features and satellite messaging restrictions.
Huawei introduced the mid-range Enjoy 70X back in January, and it appears that it’s now on the brink of unveiling a slightly less powerful variant, dubbed the Enjoy 70X Lite. Recently, some live hands-on images of the device have surfaced, which you can view below.
Additionally, we have some specifications to discuss. Interestingly, the 70X Lite will be equipped with a Snapdragon chipset, contrasting with the 70X that features the Kirin 8000A. Consequently, the Lite version will lack 5G support, as Huawei is unable to use 5G Snapdragon chips due to US sanctions.

The device will be available in black, white, and blue, with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. It features a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 1224×2700, a 50 MP primary camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and an 8 MP front-facing camera.
Powering the device is a 6,100 mAh battery that supports 40W fast wired charging. It operates on HarmonyOS 4.2. Compared to the 70X, the Lite version’s main camera sensor is not RYYB, it lacks NFC capability, and although it supports Beidou satellite messaging, it cannot send images via this feature. Additionally, the 128GB variant will not support any form of satellite messaging and will only be available for online purchase.
In summary, this is essentially an Enjoy 70X but with a different chipset, a less advanced main camera, reduced satellite messaging capabilities (or none at all on the lowest configuration), and no NFC. Otherwise, the two devices appear quite similar. True to its name, the Enjoy 70X Lite is expected to come at a lower price point.
