Amazon is hosting a global spring shopping event, and we’ve selected the top smartphone deals for the UK.
The Poco F7 series has launched perfectly timed for the Spring Deal Days, now featuring a £100 discount instead of the usual £50 early bird offer.
The Poco F7 Ultra begins at £550, offering flagship-level performance with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a 5,300mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. It has an IP68 rating, featuring a 6.67” display with Poco Shield Glass—a high-quality 120Hz panel boasting 1440p+ resolution, 12-bit colors with Dolby Vision, and an impressive peak brightness of 3,200 nits.
Poco has also focused on the camera system, which includes a 50MP main sensor (1/1.55”, OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x (60mm) zoom (capable of tele-macro shots), and a 32MP ultra-wide lens, along with a 32MP selfie camera.
The Poco F7 Pro is £150 less for the same storage, and it features the same display (different glass, GG 7i, but the panel remains unchanged). It runs on last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which remains incredibly fast, especially for this price. However, it sacrifices the telephoto camera and the 32MP ultra-wide (replaced by an 8MP module), but offers a larger 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging only.
Even with its mid-range price, the F7 Pro delivers a premium experience thanks to its aluminum frame, IP68 rating, and flagship-level chipset.

The Google Pixel 9 bridges the gap between the more expensive 9 Pro and the upcoming 9a. It includes a nice discount along with a free silicone case, covering all the essentials. While it does not feature a telephoto camera, the Pixel 9 sports a large 1/1.31” 50MP primary sensor alongside a high-resolution 48MP ultra-wide camera.

In terms of camera quality, the Honor Magic7 Pro stands out, featuring a 50MP main sensor (f/1.4-2.0, 1/1.3”), a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP 3x (72mm) periscope lens. The 50MP selfie camera comes equipped with a 3D ToF sensor, enabling stunning selfies. This device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite along with a 5,270mAh battery supporting both 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. The display is a 6.8” LTPO panel (120Hz, 10-bit) with 1280p+ resolution.

The OnePlus 13 is similarly priced, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite and a 6.82” LTPO display (120Hz, 10-bit) with 1440p+ resolution. The 50MP main camera has a fixed f/1.6 aperture, complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The telephoto camera is a standard 50MP 3x (73mm) module. Inside, you’ll find a 6,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Both the Honor and OnePlus are IP69 rated, although the Honor offers a longer OS update period—5 versus 4.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite is currently available with a significant 40% discount. This entry-level smartphone boasts a 6.67” 120Hz OLED display (1080p+), a Snapdragon 695 chipset (with expandable storage), and a 50MP camera. It has an IP54 rating and a 5,110mAh battery with fast 80W wired charging.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro has been discounted by 41%, but it’s worth noting that this is a late 2023 model. Nonetheless, it will receive updates to Android 15 and 16, ensuring its longevity, even if the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 isn’t particularly fast—it does outperform the 695, at least.
This model features an impressive 200MP main camera with OIS and decent 2x in-sensor zoom (though the 4x zoom is less effective). The 6.67” 120Hz OLED display is also noteworthy (12-bit, Dolby Vision, 1220p+, GG Victus), and the 5,100mAh battery with 67W charging is on par with the Nord, sharing the IP54 rating.

The Redmi Note 13 4G also has substantial discounts available, but hold off on that for the moment.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro was released this January and shares many similarities with the 13 Pro, except it launched with Android 14 instead of 13 (and is set for 3 OS updates). It is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra instead of a Snapdragon processor. The camera system remains the same with a 200MP main and a 6.67” 12-bit display. Charging capacity has decreased to 45W, but the battery size remains identical at 5,110mAh. Notably, the dust and water resistance have significantly improved to IP68, and the glass has been upgraded to GG Victus 2. This upgrade is worth the additional £40 in our opinion.

Likewise, the Redmi Note 14 4G is priced £30 higher than the 13 4G, but it comes with a newer Android version at release and extended software support. While it retains the same 108MP main camera, the battery has been increased to 5,500mAh (up from 5,000mAh, both with 33W charging). The Snapdragon 685 has been upgraded to a Helio G99 Ultra, which is a minor improvement. Again, the small premium for the updated model is justified.

Apple is preparing to unveil a new iPhone lineup in September, but you can currently purchase the older iPhone 15 Pro Max for £900. While you won’t benefit from any potential camera enhancements that may be introduced, iPhones are known for their durability and longevity, making this older model a solid option.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is priced £50 more than the Poco F7 Pro and presents an intriguing alternative. It features the Dimensity 9300+ chip from the same generation as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Although the display has a slightly lower resolution—1220p+ compared to 1440p+—it still boasts a similar 6.67” 12-bit OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The 14T Pro benefits from a superior camera system that the F7 Pro lacks—a 50MP main sensor (1/1.31” vs. 1/1.55”), a 50MP 2.6x (60mm) telephoto lens (versus none), and a 12MP ultra-wide camera (compared to the 8MP on the F7 Pro). The battery is slightly smaller at 5,000mAh (compared to 6,000mAh), but it does offer both 120W wired and 50W wireless charging (whereas the F7 Pro supports only 90W wired charging).

The Poco X7 Pro was released earlier this year and is positioned in the mid-range category, comparable to the Redmi Notes, featuring a 6.67” 12-bit display with Dolby Vision (1220p+, 120Hz, GG 7i). It is powered by a Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset and comes with a robust 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W charging. This device is also rated IP69, surpassing even the Redmi Note 14 Pro. However, it doesn’t include a 200MP camera—opting instead for a more basic 50+8MP setup.

The Poco X7 is available at a significantly lower price point compared to its Pro counterpart, but it features a downgrading to a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset with slower UFS 2.2 storage (versus UFS 4.0 on the Pro). The battery capacity has also been reduced to 5,110mAh with 45W charging. The camera and screen specifications remain the same, except the screen boasts the more premium GG Victus 2 glass instead of 7i.

The CMF Phone 1 offers a cheaper alternative but comes with only half the storage—though it does support microSD expansion. The Dimensity 7300 non-Ultra chipset is essentially similar, but this model has only basic dust and water resistance. However, its back covers are easily interchangeable for customization. Note that the 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging is non-replaceable, and the 50MP camera lacks OIS, with no ultra-wide option provided as seen in the X7 (which has an 8MP lens).
