Infinix has unveiled the Note 50x, marking the fourth entry in its mid-range Note 50 series. This smartphone stands out as the most budget-friendly option within the lineup, equipped with a Dimensity 7300 chipset, 128 GB of internal storage, and a quite standard display.
The Note 50x features a 6.67″ LCD display with HD+ resolution. It offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a typical brightness of 560 nits, with peak brightness levels reaching 672 nits. There’s also a punch hole for an 8 MP front-facing camera.
Infinix claims the Note 50x is powered by the world’s first Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset. However, it’s essentially the same 4nm platform from Mediatek, merely with a more attractive name in the marketing – it still operates with a 2.5 GHz CPU and a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.
The rear camera setup on the Infinix Note 50x includes two sensors, though specifics are available only for the main one, which boasts a 50 MP sensor alongside an f/1.6 lens. This main camera supports 4K video recording, and Infinix has integrated AI features such as AI Eraser to enhance post-processing capabilities.
Based on Android 15, XOS 15 introduces several generative AI functionalities, including a Wallpaper Generator, a writing assistant, the proprietary voice assistant Folax, and Circle to Search.
The device is powered by a robust 5,500 mAh battery that supports 45W charging and 10W wired reverse charging. The Infinix Note 50x is capable of withstanding 2,300 charge cycles, providing a resilient lifespan of approximately 6 years—this is a notable upgrade over the industry norm of 800 cycles.
In terms of durability, the phone has achieved an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification. Like its fellow Note 50 models, it features a metallic finish available in Sunset Spice Pink (essentially Brown), Enchanted Purple, and Titanium Gray color variants. Additionally, there’s a Sea Breeze Green option that sports a Vegan Leather back.
The Infinix Note 50x provides two (expandable) RAM configurations: 6 GB or 8 GB. Pricing in India is set at INR 11,499 ($135/€125) for the lower option and INR 12,999 ($150/€140) for the higher one, depending on the memory choice.
