vivo executive unveils the design of the X200s

Vivo has not yet confirmed the release date for the X200 Ultra and X200s, but rumors suggest an April launch. Recently, Product Manager Han Boxiao shared images of both models, highlighting the X200s next to the X200 Pro mini, both featuring a diamond camera layout. The X200s is expected to have a 6.67” display and a Dimensity 9400+ chipset. The X200 Pro mini is shown in purple, matching the elegant hue of the X200s. There are uncertainties about the availability of both models outside China, and rumors indicate there will be no “s Pro” version this year.

Although vivo has not yet confirmed an official launch date for the X200 Ultra and X200s, it has been speculated for some time that the release will occur in April. This speculation is bolstered by vivo’s Product Manager, Han Boxiao, who recently shared a close-up photo of the X200 Ultra’s camera setup and has now returned with an image of the X200s.

Here is the design of the vivo X200s (on the right), positioned alongside the vivo X200 Pro mini. Both models feature the same diamond camera layout, but the X200s is larger, expected to sport a 6.67” display similar to the vivo X200. “These two models represent the classic sizes of ‘Apple replacement’ pro and plus, but with enhanced performance,” notes Han.

Regarding colors, the mini is depicted in purple, and the X200s complements this shade, described by the vivo executive as a serene and sophisticated color.

It remains unclear if the vivo X200 Ultra will launch outside of China, and the same uncertainty applies to the X200s—previous models, the X100s and X100s Pro, were exclusive to China. Additionally, rumors suggest that there won’t be an “s Pro” version this year, only the standard X200s.

Speculated specifications for the vivo X200s from January indicate it will feature a Dimensity 9400+ chipset (upgrading from the original 9400) and a 6.67” “1.5K” LTPS OLED screen. However, there may be more innovations, especially considering the significant upgrades from the X100 to the X100s.
