Oppo is set to launch the Find X8 Ultra along with two other models—the Find X8S and Find X8S+, next month. The Find X8S, formerly known as the Find X8 Mini, features a 6.3-inch screen, while the X8S+ has a 6.6-inch display. Both devices will utilize MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ SoC. The X8S is rumored to support 80W wired charging, have a periscope telephoto camera, and boast a battery over 5,700 mAh in a slim profile. The Find X8 Ultra will have a 2K resolution screen, dual periscope cameras, and a battery larger than 6,000 mAh.
Oppo is set to unveil the Find X8 Ultra next month, alongside two additional devices. The Find X8S, previously referred to as the Find X8 Mini, is essentially the same device, featuring a 6.3-inch display. The name change aims to prepare users for the fact that the upcoming Find X9 will also sport a smaller screen than its predecessor, the X8.
Next up is the Find X8S+, which boasts a 6.6-inch display. Both the X8S and X8S+ will be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ SoC, which is expected to be officially announced on April 11.
Recent rumors suggest that the Find X8S will support 80W wired charging. It is expected to feature a periscope telephoto lens, wireless charging capabilities, and an IP rating for water and dust resistance. The Find X8S+ is likely to offer the same specifications in a larger form factor. The latest speculation indicates that the X8S will have a battery exceeding 5,700 mAh, a thickness of just over 7mm, and a weight of 187g, with its flat screen’s bezels measuring less than 1.38mm.
The Find X8 Ultra has been confirmed to include a “2K” resolution flat display with ultra-narrow symmetrical bezels around the edges, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual periscope telephoto cameras (one with 3x zoom and the other with 6x), a thickness of around 8.xx mm, a faux leather finish, and a specialized vibration motor. Its battery capacity will surpass 6,000 mAh.
