Oppo Verifies the Charging Specifications and Water Resistance of the Find X8 Ultra

Oppo’s Find X8 Ultra is set to launch in April, with sales commencing the same month. It features impressive charging capabilities, offering 100W wired charging that fully charges the device in 35 minutes, and 80W wireless charging. The phone is designed as a “super flagship” focusing on imaging, equipped with top camera specifications, including a telephoto macro camera with a 50 MP sensor, a powerful main camera, and additional ultra-wide capabilities. Moreover, it boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a 6,000 mAh battery, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is set to debut in April, a fact that has been officially confirmed by the company. It will also be available for purchase next month.

Today, Zhou Yibao, the product manager for Oppo’s Find series, revealed more details about the device, specifically its charging capabilities. The Find X8 Ultra is equipped with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. Utilizing a wired connection, it can fully charge from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes.

Zhou also hinted at the phone’s exceptional camera capabilities, emphasizing that it will be a “super flagship” with a strong focus on photography. The handset boasts both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection.

In line with previous leaks, the Find X8 Ultra is rumored to feature a flat display with ultra-slim bezels, a telephoto macro camera using the 50 MP Sony Lytia LYT-701 sensor with 3x optical zoom and OIS, a 50 MP primary camera equipped with a 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor and OIS, a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 6x optical zoom, along with a 50 MP ultrawide lens.

Additionally, it will include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, support for satellite communication, and a robust 6,000 mAh battery. The traditional alert slider will be replaced by a button in the Find X8 Ultra. Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
