MIAMI – The Champions Cup has significantly influenced six clubs within the latest Concacaf Club Rankings (CCR), leading to three adjustments in the top five positions.
The Concacaf Club Rankings Index evaluates all clubs and leagues throughout the confederation. Teams accumulate points through their performances in official domestic league matches, regional cup matches, and Concacaf Champions Cup participation.

Here are the key highlights from the recent changes.
Columbus Crew (1,252) and Club América (1,247) maintained their positions as first and second, respectively, as both prepare to commence their Champions Cup journeys in the Round of 16.
Inter Miami CF (1,225) surged to third place after consecutive wins in the Champions Cup Round One against Sporting Kansas City, with opening goals from Lionel Messi in both matches.
Cruz Azul (1,224) and LAFC (1,223) also climbed the rankings to fourth and fifth, respectively, due to their recent performance in the CCC.
CF Monterrey (1,223), CF Pachuca (1,222), Tigres UANL (1,219), Deportivo Toluca (1,215), and Club León (1,214) complete the top ten list.

CS Herediano (1,170) leads the rankings among Central American teams, moving up to 30th overall, surpassing the reigning Concacaf Central American Cup champion LD Alajuelense (1,151), which improved to 42nd and will kick off its CCC campaign in the Round of 16.
CD Olimpia (1,140) advanced to 48th overall, while Deportivo Saprissa (1,130) dropped to 52nd, and CSD Municipal (1,117) held steady in 54th place, rounding out the top five in Central America.
In the Caribbean, Dominican Republic’s Cibao FC (1,065) remains the top club, climbing to 78th overall.
Jamaican teams Mount Pleasant FA (1,053) at 89th and defending Concacaf Caribbean Cup champion Cavalier FC (1,046) at 96th overall are positioned second and third, respectively, while SV Robinhood (1,042) from Suriname ranks 99th, and Trinidad and Tobago’s Defence Force FC (1,036) rounds out the top five at 105th.
CS Herediano was the standout performer of the month, climbing 17 positions from 47th to 30th overall. Puntarenas FC (1,061) followed with a 10-spot rise to 83rd.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC (1,180) also improved its ranking with strong CCC performance, moving up eight spots to 20th, while Club Necaxa (1,172) climbed to 27th and Real Estelí FC (1,072) to 72nd, each increasing by six spots.
CS Herediano pulled off the most notable upset with a 2-1 away victory against Real Salt Lake (1,166) in Round One of the Champions Cup. This match showcased the 47th ranked team triumphing over a top twenty team and resulted in the largest drop, as RSL fell 14 spots to 32nd overall.
