In Noida, a pitbull attacked a worker at a dog shelter, causing serious leg injuries that required hospitalization. The incident, captured on video, shows the dog biting the man’s leg repeatedly until he was rescued by colleagues. Pitbulls are known for their aggressive behavior, which has led to concerns over safety. In response to increasing dog attack incidents, last year the Indian government instructed states to ban the sale and breeding of 23 aggressive dog breeds, including pitbulls, American Bulldogs, and Rottweilers, among others, to mitigate risks associated with these animals.

A pitbull has attacked a worker at the dog shelter home in Noida, resulting in serious leg injuries that have left him hospitalized. This distressing incident took place at a dog shelter home in Sector 108 and was captured on video.

The footage reveals the pitbull charging at the man’s right leg and biting him. The worker fell to the ground and started bleeding, yet the dog continued to savage his leg.

He was subsequently rescued by other workers and transported to the hospital.

Pitbulls are notorious for their aggressive nature and are frequently involved in attacks on people, including their owners.

In the previous year, the Centre instructed states to prohibit the sale and breeding of 23 aggressive dog breeds, which includes the Pitbull Terrier, American Bulldog, and Rottweiler, following a rise in dog attack incidents.

Other breeds that the Centre aimed to ban include Tosa Inu, American Staffordshire Terrier, Fila Brasileiro, Dogo Argentino, Boerboel, Kangal, Central Asian Shepherd Dog, Caucasian Shepherd Dog, South Russian Shepherd Dog, Tornjak, Sarplaninac, Japanese Tosa, Akita, various Mastiffs, Terriers, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Wolf Dogs, Canario, Akbash Dog, Moscow Guard Dog, Cane Corso, and Bandog.
