In a press release on Friday, Tecno confirmed that it will exhibit its Spark Slim concept smartphone at MWC next week, where it will be showcased at the company’s booth. The phone, measuring at 5.75mm, is promoted as the world’s slimmest phone with a 5,200mAh battery.
Tecno Spark Slim Specifications
The Tecno Spark Slim will come equipped with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is designed to reach peak brightness levels of 4,500nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright sunlight. It will also feature a dual rear camera arrangement consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera paired with a 50-megapixel secondary sensor.
For those interested in selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 13-megapixel front camera. Although Tecno has not disclosed the specific chipset for the Spark Slim, it is confirmed to operate on an octa-core CPU. The device is powered by a 5,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, with the battery itself measuring 4.04mm thick. The handset is crafted from fully recycled aluminium and incorporates a stainless steel frame using an integrated die-casting process.
As of now, Tecno has not disclosed the pricing or availability information for the Spark Slim. The company is referring to the device as a concept smartphone, and more details are expected to be shared during MWC, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3 to March 6. The Tecno Spark Slim is anticipated to compete with models like the Galaxy S25 Edge and the rumored iPhone 17 Slim (or Air).
