Oppo Pad 4 Pro Set to Launch with Snapdragon 8 Elite in April

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is set to launch in April, alongside the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This event will also introduce the Oppo Find X8 Next mini phone. The new tablet follows six months after the Pad 3 Pro’s announcement, which was essentially a renamed OnePlus Pad 2. Speculations suggest the mid-range OnePlus Pad 3 may be rebranded as the Oppo Pad 4, potentially with a Qualcomm chipset for its Pro version. Further details are expected to emerge soon as the event date approaches.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is anticipated to launch in April, and it has been revealed that a tablet will also be introduced at this event, whose date is yet to be confirmed. As per Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro will make its debut, marking it as the first tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The informant further mentioned that the same event will see the introduction of a compact device known as the Oppo Find X8 Next.

OnePlus Pad 2 aka Oppo Pad 3 Pro

This new tablet is set to arrive just six months after its predecessor, the Pad 3 Pro, which was officially unveiled in October alongside the Find X8 series. At that time, the tablet was essentially a rebranded OnePlus Pad 2.

It seems reasonable for the Oplus brands to rename the mid-range OnePlus Pad 3 as the Oppo Pad 4, likely incorporating the Qualcomm chipset for its Pro variant. However, these are just assumptions; many details remain uncertain at this point, but we expect more information to emerge soon.
