A few days ago, we shared the initial batch of official promotional videos for Oppo’s newly announced Find N5, and today we return with three additional videos that Oppo has released since then.
The first video showcases the immersive experience of the Find N5’s main screen (the one that folds). Take a look:
With a diagonal measurement of 8.12″, the screen size is certainly impressive. However, the video can be somewhat misleading, as it depicts a person watching a video without any black bars appearing. While this can be achieved by heavily cropping into a video, it effectively cuts out significant portions. If you prefer to see the entire content, black bars will typically appear either at the top and bottom or on the sides, depending on the video’s aspect ratio.
Next, Oppo highlights the Find N5’s drop resistance, illustrating the device falling on a corner while unfolded and emerging without any damage. This is certainly a bold assertion, and unfortunately, it’s one we’re not willing to test on our review unit. We can only hope for your sake that the device performs as glorified in this video if you ever find yourself in such a predicament.
Lastly, we have the topic of water resistance. The Find N5 comes with IPX8 and IPX9 certifications, indicating it can withstand both immersion in water and exposure to water jets, ensuring solid protection in this area.
