The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) is accepting applications for the Seoul Tech Scholarship 2025, aimed at students from India pursuing master’s degrees in science and engineering. Applications are due by March 14, 2025, with courses starting in September 2025. Selected candidates will receive full tuition coverage, a monthly living allowance of KRW 1,000,000, a flight ticket to Korea, and health insurance. Eligibility includes being under 38, holding a bachelor’s degree from a top 100 Indian university, and achieving specific grade requirements. Applications must be apostilled and sent to the Embassy of India in Seoul.
Study In South Korea: The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) of the Republic of Korea is currently inviting applications from students in science and engineering disciplines for the Seoul Tech Scholarship 2025. This program provides exceptional individuals with the chance to pursue a master’s degree at prestigious universities in Seoul, Korea. Applications must be submitted by March 14, 2025.
The Ministry of Education, Government of India, does not participate in the nomination or selection of candidates. The final decision will be made by the donor country.
Selected applicants will begin their master’s programs in September 2025, with results announced in July 2025.
Scholarship Benefits
- Full tuition fees covered (50% by SMG, 50% by the university)

- Support for employment or entrepreneurial endeavors in Korea after completing the graduate program
Eligibility Criteria
Age: Born after 1985
Education: Must have graduated (or be expected to graduate) with a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering from one of the top 100 Indian universities according to the latest NIRF rankings
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen
Grade Requirements:
- Percentage: 80% or higher, or be in the top 20% of the class
- CGPA: 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0 and higher (as per GKS criteria)
Language: Instruction is in English

Apostille Process
The original signed application form and supporting documents must be apostilled in India and sent by post/courier to the Embassy of India, Seoul.
Processing Time: A minimum of 2 weeks, so applicants should submit their documents well in advance.

Selection Process
