The Masters Tournament at Augusta National has introduced a new menu item: Savory Tomato Pie, a reimagined Southern tradition that resembles an empanada. This limited debut coincided with the tournament’s announcements, and it will be featured alongside popular items like pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches. The price of the Savory Tomato Pie has not been disclosed, but it is expected to align with the affordable pricing of other concessions, which previously included $1.50 egg salad and $3 barbecue sandwiches. The Masters maintains its reputation for inexpensive food options amid the prestigious event.

The Masters chose a remarkable day to unveil an exciting and distinct menu addition alongside the traditional pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches.
This year, the Savory Tomato Pie makes its limited introduction, as announced by the tournament on Tuesday during lunchtime, claiming it is a reimagined Southern classic. The club emphasizes that there are no April Fools’ Day pranks involved.
The pie has the appearance of an empanada or handheld pastry and is included in the Masters allergens menu and safe-to-consume guide under the sandwiches category, alongside options like Egg Salad, Pimento Cheese, Bar B Que, Masters Club, and more.
While the exact price of the Savory Tomato Pie remains undisclosed, it is expected to align with the affordable pricing of other Masters concessions. In previous years, Egg Salad and Pimento Cheese have been priced at $1.50, while Bar B Que, Masters Clubs, and other sandwiches have cost around $3.
In 2024, beer was priced at $6, while chips, peanuts, and cookies remained steady at $1.50. A Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich, a popular choice on warm spring days in Augusta, was available for $3.
